Valerie Manning, Ph.D.

Valerie Manning is an aerospace executive, former professional athlete, and active pilot.

Building on a career spanning the United States Air Force, McKinsey, Airbus, and an eVTOL startup, Valerie Manning now works with select clients across the aerospace industry as an independent advisor and accepts board positions where she can bring genuine value.

She can regularly be found riding her bicycle around California's East Bay, quietly pining for her mountain bike waiting for her in the Andorran Pyrenees, and for any mountain with a telemark line worth skiing. Although it may be late in life to win a Slam, Valerie has taken up tennis as a life sport. As a good pilot is always learning, she has recently added a helicopter license to her credentials. Such a portfolio of activities is synergistic with Valerie's love of immersing herself in cultures worldwide.

Valerie is based in Oakland, California, with a second home in Toulouse, France, and is open to worldwide travel.
